Places to visit

Hi everyone, in this opportunity I want to write about different places that a foreign should visit in Santiago.
In the first place, I have to admit that I don`t know too many places on Santiago and less in Chile. I am a person that enjoys stay at home, watching movies, be on internet, reading books, etc. (It doesn`t means that I don`t like the nature, all the contrary, I enjoy watch: the sea, the trees, the sky, the mountains, etc. So the places that I can recommend are “Baños morales”, which are thermal springs locate beyond San José de Maipo, you can visit too Quinta Normal, because you can watch the nature: birds, trees, and of this way you can share with friends a nice, and simple day (I have a friend that say that is easy [not cheap] to share).
But, if you want go out with your friends on night, you can go to “Barrio suecia”, located in the subway station Los Leones, there are a lot of pubs, restaurant, and places available to enjoy and have an excellent night.

If you want to know about our history, you can to visit the “museo de la memoria y de los derechos humanos” that show all the pain that many people suffer in time of military dictatorship. The other museums that we have are: “Bellas Artes”,”Contemporáneo”, “Arte precolombino”, “Historico Nacional”, the MIM (“Museo interactivo Mirador”), where you can learn playing, and many others. let go for a travel

Hi, in this opportunity I will like to talk about trips. I always dream with travel to Europe, more than a country in special, is go to the Europe continent, because there are many historic places. The principal places that I will like to visit are the churches. The cradle of the Catholic Church is in Europe, and for that I want to know the Vatican, Sistine chapel, and thousands of sanctuaries that are there. Beside, I always like me the universal history; Greece, Roma, England, Venice, Spain, and Egypt are my favorite’s places involve in her.

In this case, I want to know the coliseum, go to many museums, theaters use the train, go to pray in a silence place (any close chapel) and the Egyptian pyramids, and for an estrange reason, the Chinese wall. Is curious how the religion affect in all history to the art expression, like: music, paint, architecture, literature, sculpture, etc., for that, the history like me so mach.

In other opportunity I will like to go to Paraguay, because there is a foundation of a friend of my priest, Michelle, and he invites me to know it. There are schools, hospitals and other things that make me feel interested in go and maybe, work there.

What do I learn in my past term?

During the past terms, I think that I learn many thinks, and the most exciting is that this knowledge contributed in my future laboral life, and more important (for me), in my personal life.
This knowledge are related to my life vision. I thing that in this faculty is very difficult to be a catholic person, because many people talk against Catholic Church, and many times my vision of life has been affected for the things that my friends, teachers, partners says. The past semester, I learn that not all the people have the same life experience than me, and beside, like me, catholic church can make mistakes, because it`s conform by people, humans; and that the important is learn of us mistakes.
For another way, the experience in Dichato, teach me many things negatives too, like the politics and economic interest are affecting to Dichato`s people, but in opposite to this, I leran too that the union make the strength: That if we create a community, with interests in common, we can fight for them.
I learn in a curse with my partners that we can express our feelings and ideas by means of the words, songs, and through our body, dancing, and isn`t necessary use a choreography for do it.

Hi, well, in first place will like to say hello, and suggest some topic that are very interesting for my:
- Favourites sport: This, because when we are studying, we don’t have many time for ourselves, so in consequence, there is not many occasions were we can do some sport.
- Places that we like to travel: In my case, I don’t have enough money and time to know the places that I will like to know, wish are in general in other countries, and more, in other continents, so I will like to know what is the case of my partners.
- Our favourites places (that we already knows): In think that I don`t know many places, so I will like to know this paces by means of my partners.

My blogger experience

Well, I think that my experience with blogger have been good and bad, because I was used to translate from English to Spanish, so this change was very difficult in a sense, from other side, I like English, so this has been very interesting for me. I have to admit that in the beginning it was easier, because the words that you demanded were less, and each weeks is more difficult: In a grammar sense, and because I have to write more words in the same quantity of time, too.
Beside, in the beginning we have to write about topics that were more interest for me, like books, movies, etc., so It wasn`t so difficult to me write the 200 words.
I have to admit that in many cases this methodology helped me to enlarge and improve my vocabulary, and is very interesting talk about my opinion: Likes, dislikes, if I am agree with something or somebody, about my life, etc. It`s a great way to know my classmates, or in your case, to your students, so I hope that you don`t used against us (it`s a joke).
In other sense, I don’t have much experience with blogger, only with “Fotolog” or “Facebook”, and inclusive in these cases I use always the basics elements only, so I can assure you that this instrument help me to discover other things and uses of the computer (or internet).
In consequence, I think that the advantages of my blogger experience, are related with time, because in many cases 1 hour isn`t enough to do it, and I have to write in my house; and in the weekend I really don`t have many time for do it, so for this reason I had to send my post or comment on Tuesday. But, for another side, I can say that this experience help me to improve my language and my confidence in classes.

My confirmation

This day was very important for me because I confirmed my love and devotion to Good, I told him: yes I want to follow you, no matter what happened now, I will always love you and give my life to you. It was the moment more important for me, because I think that it marks a before and after.
In the picture I have one candle that represents my light, my heart that receives to good, and I had the Cross on my neck that gave me that day, like a symbol of my dedication to God. The person that are in this pictures are my friends, they make me grow up, know more about Good, and in consequence, to the life, they opened his heart, accepted me every Saturday and Sunday. His names are: José, Claudio, Sebastian, Patricio, Jonathan, Lucia, Paula, Victor, Hector and Cesar, the last one, died 2 years ago in a car accident in San José de Maipo.
The other people are my monitors of confirmation: Danilo, Anita (only the first year), and Nury (from de second year to the third). The place was the parish Beato Pietro Bonnilli, and I have the lucky, that my own parish priest could lay his hands to me (when they give you something like the blessing). My godmother called: Victoria, and she`s the wife of my uncle.
I was very nervous because I had to sing in a part of the Mass, so I didn`t want to make mistakes.

TED conference

I think that he is great, he could do a resume of the most of things that are happening in the education, and is an impact that this phenomenon such in our country and in others too, so I question to myself, why is this?. The author say that we are not worries about the dreams of the children. I remember that when I was a girl I wanted to be a model, a singer, a dancer, I wanted to sweep the streets! yes! It very strange, but I remember that Its always liked me, but the money is obviously a problem, and beside this kind of works the people always step it.

Is very important that we ask to ourselves: I’m like my career? What I’m doing? I’m meeting my dream? Why? I choose my profession because I like the children’s, is a vocation that I discover when I ask to myself what can I do for God, and I’m happy of see to God on the kids. I want to teach, more that content, values, and for that is important that I consider his wishes, his desires (many times hides), for that we will have to create, like says the author, instances where kids discover to themselves.

In the actuality this is don’t happening, and the problem is that we cannot do partial solutions, we have to do a revolution, we have to change the order of systems, but is very important that we give a real significance to the education, do new projects. I know, it is not easy, but we must to start.
